Brigitte Lindholm Reporting For Duty Officially On PC, PS4 and Xbox One!

We were all super excited when Jeff announced a new support hero coming to Overwatch in the first week of March. We were introduced to Brigitte Lindholm, the daughter of Torbjörn Lindholm, master of weapons design, has joined the Overwatch team officially! The update is now live on PC, PS4 and the Xbox One!

With her support specialty of providing armor and defense, Brigitte can throw repair packs to heal teammates or provide armor if their HP is full. She can also automatically heal nearby allies as she deals damage to enemies with her flail.

Brigitte can also perform a few tricks with her Flail. She’s able to swing her flail around which is capable to strike multiple targets and stuns targets with her Whip Shot at a range. She is also equipped with a Barrier Shield, but it’s not as large as Reinhardt’s ginormous shield. However her shield is still capable to help shield those who are directly behind her. While her Barrier Shield is up, she can still attack enemies with Shield Bash where she performs a short dash and stuns enemies.

Rally, her ultimate, provides her with a substantial short-term boost of speed AND provides long-lasting armor to all her nearby allies. The radius is about the size of Zenyatta’s Tranquility or Lucio’s Sound Barrier. Allies will need to get inside of Rally’s range to be affected with the armor buff. However the speed boost is only affected on Brigitte only.
