A new demo for the upcoming Bravely Default II is now available for download via the Nintendo eShop.
In addition to getting to play a slice of the popular JRPG early, fans who download the demo will also be entitled to 100 My Nintendo Platinum points.
This demo will allow you to try out four playable characters, each with their own jobs as you learn the game’s unique combat mechanics. These will require you to master the game’s two signature mechanics, Brave and Default.
As a result of letting you try out the job system, though, it will take place after the game’s start, at a point where you’ll already have the previously mentioned characters.
It’s unknown if this build of the game will incorporate any of the fan feedback the team has addressed in several video updates.
Bravely Default II is, oddly enough, the third entry in the Bravely Default series, after the follow-up to the original, Bravely Second came out. The series has generally been praised for its amazing quality-of-life features, overlaid over a more classic JRPG experience.
It features a new protagonist, and a whole host of new characters to recruit, alongside the game’s robust job system that made the original Bravely Default one of the 3DS’ biggest gems.
Bravely Default II releases February 26, 2021 on the Nintendo Switch.
