Borderlands 3 Breaks 2K’s Sales Records!

Today, Borderlands 3 broke 2K’s sales as the best selling game within 5 days of release. Being compared towards its predecessor – Borderlands 2 – it surpasses Borderlands 2 by 50 percent on September 13th! Other than inner company comparisons, Borderlands 3 also hits the highest selling title for the label on PC in a five-day window. These sales generated more than 1$ billion on Net Bookings and became the second franchise in 2K history to achieve this milestone.

Borderlands 3 also hit the top position for Most-Watched Game on its launch day and has yet to be challenged off their top 5 spot on Twitch. Borderlands 3 has more than 14 million hours viewing hours on Twitch, more than half of Borderlands 2 total viewership in its seven-year timeline.
