Yostar, the publisher behind titles such as Arknights and Azur Lane, has just announced Blue Archive, its latest RPG for the Android and iOS platforms. The game is scheduled for a launch in Japan sometime in 2020. As part of the announcement, a teaser trailer is shared, which you can watch below:
Details for the game are sparse at the moment, though we are told that the premise of it is that it is an RPG in which players can find miracles in daily life. In Blue Archive, you take on the role of a teacher who must lead their students to solve a variety of mysteries.
Players based in Japan will be able to sign up for the closed beta programme that is currently running until 31 July 2020. A total of 1,000 participants will be selected for the closed beta test, and should that number exceed, there will be a lottery system implemented. For the time being the closed beta test is only for Android, with the iOS CBT coming at a later date. The teaser site is the place to go to sign up, so if you meet the conditions, be sure to head there right now. In case you were wondering, this will be a free-to-play title with the usual micro-transactions.
