The second major paid DLC expansion for Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris, Blooming of Matricaria, will be launching 26 July 2022. Blooming of Matricaria will be available in the Season Pass for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Steam versions of the game as well. Additionally, the previously announced Nintendo Switch version of Alicization Lycoris will launch 29 September 2022.
To celebrate the release of the DLC, there will be a special pre-release broadcast showcasing the expansion on 25 July 2022, 21:00 JST via the official Sword Art Online Youtube channel. Fans of the series should not miss out to learn more details about the DLC!

The DLC features Log, a new character, and a new weapon type in the Shield Axe. Both Log and Kirito will be able to equip the weapon.
The Nintendo Switch version will have the Ancient Apostles 1-4 content which were previously released for free. 5-8 will be released in due course, alongside the paid DLC expansions in Myosotis and Blooming of Matricaria. Other content that will be included will be the four design contest costumes, the Beater Cafe’s original costume and 20 CUBE tickets that were also previously distributed.
