Blizzard Entertainment has given more information for the next major expansion for Hearthstone, titled Showdown in the Badlands, as well as several more announcements for the card game.
Showdown in the Badlands comes to Hearthstone on November 14th, and will focus on origin stories for Reno Jackson and Elise Starseeker, as they protect a Blackrock town from a mining operation.
The expansion launches November 14th, and will provide plenty of new cards such as Reno, Lone Ranger, based on the younger Reno Jackson.
Catch-Up Packs Coming With Hearthstone Showdown In The Badlands
That’s not all the Hearthstone news from Blizzcon 2023, however, as they also announced Catch-Up Packs: 50-card packs featuring cards from sets released in the past two years to help complete collections.
Players logging in today will be receiving one Catch-Up Pack each, with more Catch-Up Packs being available as part of pre-purchase packs for Showdown in the Badlands.
Hearthstone Battlegrounds
Additionally, they also announced a new game mode for the game- Battleground Duos, letting you play a game of Battlegrounds co-operatively with your friends.
Players will share a life pool, as well as be able to swap cards between allies while also having a special table just for the game mode to allow for more co-operative gameplay.
