BlizzCon 2019 is confirmed to be held on November 1 and 2, taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center! It will feature a wide range of attractions and activities for attendees, such as in-depth developer panels and world-class esports competition. Also, this year’s event is including a more active hall space and the new “BlizzCon Pregame Festivities”, which will be held outside of the convention center on the day before the show.
BlizzCon always features some of the greatest Blizzard esports moment. This year’s highlight would be the Hearthstone Global Finals and Overwatch World Cup, as well as the global finals for StarCraft II World Championship Series, World of Warcraft Arena World Championship and World of Warcraft Mythic Dungeon International.
BlizzCon 2019 introduces a new ticket option – BlizzCon Portal Pass that offers exclusive perks to enhance the experience.
Here is a breakdown of all three ticket options:
- BlizzCon Pass – The BlizzCon Pass provides the same full general-admission access as in previous years, along with access to Thursday’s BlizzCon Pregame Festivities. You’ll also get the BlizzCon in-game goodies, along with your choice of this year’s BlizzCon Commemorative Collectible.
- BlizzCon Portal Pass – The BlizzCon Portal Pass is your gateway to an array of extras, including access to the Darkmoon Faire area on the eve of BlizzCon for a special “Night at the Faire.” It also comes with convenient perks such as preferred parking, separate registration and security lines, an option to be among the first to enter the show on Friday and Saturday, a dedicated lounge for taking a load off during BlizzCon, and more.
- BlizzCon Benefit Dinner – The BlizzCon Benefit Dinner gives you a chance to meet and chat with developers, artists, and other folks from Blizzard the night before the show at a laid-back charity dinner. Your BlizzCon Benefit Dinner purchase also comes with entry to BlizzCon and all of the BlizzCon Portal Pass perks. As in past years, the net proceeds from the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner go to benefit CHOC Children’s.
The tickets will go on sale in 2 waves, May 4 (10:00 a.m. PDT) and May 8 (7:00 p.m. PDT). The pricing is $229 for the BlizzCon Pass, $550 for the BlizzCon Portal Pass, and $750 for the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner. All the ticket purchases will include the BlizzCon in-game goodies, along with a choice of BlizzCon Commemorative Collectible statue in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Warcraft – either a mighty Orc Grunt or bold Human Footman.
