For the longest time Bleach has been considered one of the most iconic Shonen anime of its time, up there with Naruto and One Piece. It centers around a boy named Ichigo, who becomes a Shinigami after meeting a girl named Rukia.
The manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2001, where it’s since spawned anime, movies and most recently even a mobile game. Ichigo would also go on to make guest appearances in other games, such as the Shonen Jump arena fighter Jump Force, alongside other Bleach characters.
The manga published its final chapter in August of 2016.
