Blazblue Entropy Effect is getting a global release, which is due to drop some time this year.
The game has received its own official Twitter page, where they announced that they were expecting it to release some time in 2023.
In addition, checking the game’s Steam Page sees that Blazblue Entropy Effect will receive English and Chinese audio, with English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese subtitles and interfaces for its global release.
It’ll also be present at BitSummit Let’s Go in July, with a playable build for attendees.
This is a far cry from the game’s initial announcement, where the game was a China-only release for mobile devices.
While Entropy Effect will be available globally via Steam, it’s not currently known if its mobile counterpart will also be releasing outside of China.
Blazblue Entropy Effect is a roguelike adventure title, having you play as various iconic Blazblue characters in ACE, a “consciousness-training system” through the game’s levels.
These characters include series mainstays like Ragna The Bloodedge and Noel Vermillion, as well as newer ones like Es.
It also features a Legacy System, where you’ll be able to inherit skills from other characters to build a unique moveset for your character, as well as Potential Skills and Elemental buffs.
This marks the second non-fighting game spinoff for Blazblue, following the short-lived Blazblue Alternative Dark War which never saw an international release.
