Black Stella Ptolomea Release Date Officially Announced for Japan

CyberStep has announced the official release date for Black Stella Ptolomea, an upcoming turn-based gacha RPG for mobile devices.

As announced today, Black Stella Ptolomea will be officially launching on 30 November 2023 exclusively in Japan with no details yet for a global release.

Black Stella Ptolomea is a turn-based RPG reboot of its initial title, developed by CyberStep and ScopeNext.

The game features a main story and scenarios written by fiction writer Fumiaki Maruto, known for his work on Engage Kiss and Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend. 

Set in the year 2049, after an enormous crater swallows the entirety of Japan’s Minato ward in 2039, monsters began emerging from the hole and started attacking the citizens of Japan.

Taking on the form of turn-based combat, players control a team of up to 5 characters, with 3 members in combat and 2 in reserve.

In each turn, players command their characters to either execute a basic attack or utilize other abilities unlocked through progression.

As they battle, characters can build up to an ultimate attack as they use more abilities and the game also features an elemental tree and in-depth gear system.

Pre-Registration Milestone

Along with the release date announcement, the developers have also revealed that the game has surpassed the 100,000 registrant milestone.

As such after the launch of the game, players will get to receive the following items:

• White Star Crystals x300
• Credits x200,000
• O-type Strong Generation Factor [I] x20
• SSR AR Confirmation Coupon x1
• AP Restorer [50] x5
• Character Limit Emancipation Set x10
• Avatar Set

There is another milestone of 150,000 registrants that has to be reached, and that would grant players one Character Confirmation Coupon.
