Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro Gaming Smartphones Malaysia Price Announced

Black Shark has announced the Malaysia price for the Black Shark 5 series gaming phones, which consist of the 5 and 5 Pro models.

The Black Shark 5 Series phones will be available in Malaysia from the 8th of June, via official channels such as the brand’s Lazada, Shopee and TikTok stores with a starting price of RM3699 for the Black Shark 5 Pro, as well as RM2299 for the Black Shark 5.

Each model comes with two distinct colors, all based around space and themed around exploring the final frontier.

The Return Of A Fan Favorite

The newest entries in the gaming smartphone brand feature improvements to its iconic features, such as the magnetic triggers which allow you to play more control-intensive games such as shooters like Garena Free Fire or PUBG Mobile without filling the screen with your fingers.

They’ve also mentioned that these triggers have out-of-game usage as well, such as as a makeshift shutter for when you’re taking photos with the phone’s main camera.

It also features a 144Hz display, with a 720Hz sampling rate to allow for more responsive controls and snappy visuals as you play your favorite mobile games for fun or for glory.

That being said, representatives from Black Shark did clarify several features with the phone, such as the lack of a built-in SSD, which they said was due to problems with the Google CTS Certification, as well as the lack of native app-recording, where it uses your microphone instead.
