Black Desert SEA Introduces Elvia Calpheon Realm and Godr-Ayed Weapons

Pearl Abyss announced that the new ‘Elvia Calpheon Realm’ hunting grounds and new “Godr-Ayed Weapons” have been introduced in Black Desert SEA.

“Elvia Calpheon Realm is a vicious area encroached on by “Hadum”, the God of Despair. The monsters in this realm, such as those found in Saunil Camp, Rhutum Outstation, Gehaku Plain, Hexe Sanctuary, and Quint Hill, have all succumbed to corruption and grown even more powerful.”

In the latest Black Desert SEA update, The ‘Elvia Distortion Phenomenon’ will have a rare chance of appearing after defeating monsters near the ‘Rifts of Despair’ which have begun to appear all over Elvia Calpheon. The distortion will alter the weather and a powerful boss monster will spawn according to the changing weather.

‘Godr-Ayed Weapons,’ which differ from pre-existing ‘Blackstar Weapons,’ have also been added. These new weapons have been introduced to break down the weapon conversion progress into smaller steps. They can be obtained by converting Blackstar weapons with a ‘Scorching Sun Crystal,’ which can be crafted with materials dropped as loot in the Elvia Calpheon Realm.

In addition, ‘Blessed Soul Fragments,’ which are used to upgrade Alchemy Stones, have also been introduced to Black Desert. To craft this new item, materials such as ‘Crystallized Despair’ are required. These are also dropped as loot in the new realm. Blessed Soul Fragments will increase Defense Points by two.

Finally, the Balenos main questline has been revamped with fully voiced cutscenes, graphically improved NPCs, and a reorganization of quest paths. The renewal will provide a better understanding of the world of Black Desert for new Adventurers, and a fresh new questline experience for existing Adventurers.
