Black Desert, the highly acclaimed MMORPG for the PC was popular in South Korea. Now that the PC version has been released globally as well, they are also going to release a mobile version globally soon! The game was first announced back in August 2017 with an official trailer with the official release for South Korea this year on the 28th February 2018.
“We are planning to release the global version within a year after the initial launch of the KR version. We will publish the game by ourselves instead of having a separate publisher, except for in China. BDM will be released in Taiwan in Q3, and will be coming to SEA on the same day as Taiwan or after Taiwan. Also, we are planning to release BDM in NA/EU in Q1 2019.”
Pearl Abyss, the developer of the game, has mentioned that the mobile version will also be released for global as well. However they did not state the release date of the game. This time, they have announced the release window during a PA Conference Call that was held on May 11th. During the event, they have mentioned on Black Desert Online for the PC’s improvements on its PvP content and Life skills content in Q2.
A new region called Mediah has also been added into Black Desert Mobile for South Korea, along with more PvP content including Conquest War and Battlefield of Ramones in the near future. The global version of the game is still in the works and it is expected to be released in Q3 of 2018 in Taiwan and SEA, for the Android only.
