Pearl Abyss, the South Korean developer behind Black Desert Online has revealed a new trailer for their latest project. A cute little Creature collector called DokeV, complete with a K-Pop Soundtrack. This was released at Gamescom 2021.
UPDATE 26/8: Previous versions of this story called it an MMO, which Pearl Abyss identified as incorrect. The article has been changed to reflect this, and we apologize for the confusion.
DokeV is an upcoming creature-collecting open-world action-adventure from Pearl Abyss. It is filled with intriguing stories and set in a unique, vibrant world.
You will meet Dokebi, whimsical creatures that live side-by-side with humans and encourage people’s dreams from which they gain strength. The colorful world of DokeV is brimming with activities, stories, and experiences, with chances to befriend a ton of Dokebi and embark on an adventure.
With that slick suburban style and bright colorful gameplay, DokeV looks very cute and polished. Perhaps this will be a good choice for all those still looking for their Pokemon fix.
Their youtube channel also features the game’s theme song ‘Rockstar’ which you should listen to, it’s a bop.
DokeV will release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We have yet to get a release date for the game but considering it was first announced in 2019, helpfully it’ll be soon.
Pearl Abyss had its 10th Anniversary last year. Here are more details about what they announced.
