Black Clover Phantom Knights opens pre-registrations for global!

Black Clover: Phantom Knights has opened pre-registrations for its global release! It’s been out in Japan since November 2018, and global is finally on its way.

As per usual with these games, they are having pre-registration campaigns! There is a Facebook-only campaign which asks people to tell who their favourite Black Clover character is! 1,000 comments will see all players receive a 5-star Asta (Dweller) unit! This campaign lasts from 8 – 14 December 2019 PST.

If you aren’t sure what the game entails, it’s basically a turn-based battle game on a 7 x 4 grid. With a team of 5, battle progresses mostly automatically as you fight off your enemies! Positioning would be required on certain stages – frontline or backline – so that they can more easily progress through the stages.

The game features a Talent system which allows players to customize their characters with their own talents to complement their skill set. In the Japanese version, players are also allowed to reroll 99 times for free during the tutorial until you settle with a 5-star unit.
