Black Clover Mobile has begun recruiting for a focus group test in Korea, selecting only roughly 100 players to start. Don’t be alarmed at the small number, as it is a focus group after all. This testing period intends to get in-depth data on the game feel and such to further improve on the game’s systems. The Korea focus group test recruitment for Black Clover Mobile will run until 26 January 2022 KST, with the testing period planned for February.
The game’s current name may not be a finalized one at this time, so stay tuned on that. As far as we know, the launch window is roughly slated for Q3 2022 to be first available in Korea and Japan, post open beta, then soft launch. The regions are also planned to get a closed beta sometime Q2 2022. A global release is supposedly also in the works, though there is currently no confirmation that they will try for a simultaneous launch, or even if it would be in 2022.
The game will be a turn-based, hero collector RPG. The game’s presentation and direction is intended to fully immerse fans into the story, while newcomers will be able to get the “sense” and “emotions” of the work, standard stuff. Stay tuned for more details in time.
