Miura’s passing was a huge blow to the anime and gaming communities, given the widespread influence Berserk had over almost every fantasy story to come out of Japan since its launch. Miura was 54 when he passed away, due to an acute aortic dissection.
This week will also mark the launch of Chapter 364 of Berserk, which serves as a memorial to the artist with letters from other manga artists, as well a a collection of some of the most iconic scenes from the long-running manga.
