Announced during the Arc World Tour Finals, Bedman will release for Guilty Gear Strive on 6th April, along with a new teased character.
First appeared as a playable character in Guilty Gear Xrd Sign, Bedman will be returning to Strive to what seems like a puppet playstyler. Additionally, a new Battle Stage called the Fairy’s Forrest Factory will be available for Season Pass Holders on the same date.
The release of Bedman marks the third playable character coming to the second season pass for Strive, next to Bridget and Sin. The last upcoming character for the second season was also teased during the livestream. While it’s not been confirmed, it’s speculated that Asuka R. Kreuz better known as That Man and the main antagonist of the Guilty Gear series will be joining the roster in May.
While it may seem weird that Strive fans are getting practically back-to-back character releases, this was mentioned during the Developer’s Backyard that happened a few days ago.
Moreover, developer Daisuke Ishiwatari also mentions that the Strive team are currently developing Season 3 during the end of the reveal for Bedman.
