Battlefield 1 was launched about 2 years ago, and it is time to get another Battlefield game! EA has just announced Battlefield V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, where it will be launched worldwide on 19 October. Plenty of the game details was revealed as well so check them out below!
Setting its background at World War II era, Battlefield V will be bringing the most immersive battlefield experience ever. Other than the single-player campaign and classic modes such as the Conquest, the Operation mode is back and it is now called the Grand Operation where you will experience multiple game modes as you fight over multiple maps. There is also a new co-op mode – Combined Arms that matches you with online players to form a squad and complete missions together.
On the weapons part, an expanded arsenal of World War 2 will be available in the game too, you can fly airplanes, engage in tank battles, or even unlock powerful secret weapons. You will also be able to build your own fortifications by building up military structures such as Bunkers and barbed wire.
Battlefield V is focusing on team-based gameplay, and you can now customize your companies (on how they look and play) all you want. You can choose to bring your personal choice of soldiers, weapons and vehicles where they can be unlocked through game progression. The “live service”, Tides of War offers time-limited chapters that refresh every few months.
Another good news, Battlefield V has no P2W elements that will affect the gameplay, and there will be no more premium pass. Available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Origin), the deluxe edition of the game will be released on 16 October while the standard edition will launch on 19 October.
