As per tradition, players can now duke it out with Johto’s Elite Four, Will, Bruno, Koga and Karen, before taking on the champion, Lance. In addition, the Johto Challenge will also periodically alter the featured region in the Champion Stadium. The Johto Challenge will run until 31t January. Don’t miss out!
As an added bonus, you can now raise three-star Iris and her Haxorus to six-star EX. Have fun Dragon Claw-ing your opponents!
Together with the new Johto Challenge, comes fresh new content from DeNa—master mode!
According to the Pokemon Masters EX official website:
Master mode is an all-new feature where you can make battles more challenging and earn more rewards.
You can unlock master mode for a region by entering all 18 types of sync pairs into the Hall of Fame and completing the medal for that region.
In master mode, you can give your opponent advantages by selecting from a range of different options before battle.
If you win, you will earn points based on the options you selected. You can earn various rewards throughout the week each time your point total from the five battles against the Elite Four and Champion exceed a specified amount.
Be sure to check out the official website for further information.
Pokemon Masters EX Johto Challenge marks the first time a new region is added to the Champion Stadium. With six more regions to go (and possibly more, if Game Freak adds another instalment to the core series), we eagerly await the arrival of Hoenn and other regions.
