The mobile version of Call of Duty soft-launched in Australia back at the end of last year. Before Call of Duty: Legends of War even undergoes global launch, there are already rumours of a battle royale mode. There are images of new maps and vehicles too. After the announcement of the ‘Fallen’ map, there are even more new maps that will be joining the fray. Two new PVP maps are Tunisia and Range. There will also be an incoming PVE map called Swamp. More new maps are currently being developed and it is exciting to see how many maps will be there at global launch.
Additionally, more game modes! The popular PVP modes selected from the Call of Duty series are currently present. They include Team Deathmatch, Frontline, Search & Destroy, Domination and Free-For-All. Despite already having a few popular game modes in the playlist, Tencent plans to add even more. One of the incoming additions is the Hardpoint mode which will be ready for the next test phase.
More guns such as the popular MP5 SMG family will be coming. A tactical backpack will also be in the game and it also comes in levels which sparks that there might really be a battle royale mode coming to Call of Duty: Legends of War after all. Furthermore, some new vehicles such as a military transport truck and a combat speed boat will also be coming.
The game is currently under development by Tencent after their collaboration with Activision. There are rumours that Call of Duty: Legends of War might be launching officially at the end of this month. The development might be slow but Call of Duty fans can definitely be excited for the global release. Remember, PUBG is under Tencent after all.
