Batman Gotham Knights Coming Out in 2021

During the DC’s FanDome online event, Warner Brothers Games Montreal had finally revealed a new Batman game titled Batman Gotham Knights which was the previously teased big Batman game. The game is said to be released next year in 2021.

The trailer started off with a shocking revelation that Bruce Wayne aka the Batman had seemingly died.

In his emergency transmission named “Code Black”, Bruce had requested the aid of a group of heroes to step up and fill in the shoes of Batman to maintain the order in Gotham city. The group of heroes consist of Batgirl, Nightwing, Redhood and Robin.

At the end part of the trailer, fans would be delighted to see that this game’s main antagonist seemed to be revolving around the Court of Owls.

To those who are unfamiliar with the Court of Owls, they are an organized crime group and a secret society which had secretly existed since the Colonial times in Gotham City. The Court kidnaps child performers from the circus to train and transform them into their assassins, known as Talons.

And according to the Gameplay trailer that was also announced, we can see Batgirl facing off against various of thugs as well as Mr Freeze while showcasing some of Batgirl’s abilities. The game can be played either solo or a two-player coop mode.

Warner Brothers also said that the story of Batman Gotham Knights is an original story and is not connected to the Arkham games. The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
