BanG Dream Hololive Collab 2 Release Date Announced, With Over A Month Of Vtuber Excitement

Bushiroad has given more information on the second BanG Dream Hololive collab, bringing costumes based on popular Vtubers into the game.

In a tweet, they confirmed that Part 1 of the BanG Dream Hololive Collab 2 will start on the 6th of December for the Japanese server, and will feature Tokino Sora, Shirakami Fubuki and Minato Aqua coming to the game.

The collab will bring new units to the game, with characters from featured units getting costumes to look like the featured Hololive talent for that unit.

It should be noted that for Part 1, the units are following the same assigned pairings as the previous collaboration.

The featured unit pairings for Part 1 are as follows:

• Poppin Party X Tokino Sora
• Pastel Palettes X Minato Aqua
• Hello Happy World X Shirakami Fubuki

In the BanG Dream livestream, they also teased information about the future parts of the collab, which will feature the following pairings for Part 2 (starting late December 2023):

• Roselia X Sakamata Chloe
• Raise a Suilen X Hoshimachi Suisei

Here are the pairings for Part 3, which starts Mid January 2024:

• Afterglow X Houshou Marine
• Morfonica X Yukihana Lamy
• MyGo!!! X Shishiro Botan

It should be noted these were only announced for the Japanese server, but considering the original Hololive collab ended up coming to BanG Dream Global, there’s a shot it could come in future.

Hololive is a frequent guest collaboration in Bushiroad games, having done one previous BanG Dream collab as well as appearing in their other published titles like D4DJ Groovy Mix.
