Bandai Namco Unveils Gameplay Details for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls

Bandai Namco and developer Tamsoft have released a new gameplay overview trailer for their upcoming title, Bleach: Rebirth of Souls. The trailer provides insight into the game’s combat mechanics and character abilities, offering fans a glimpse of what to expect from this adaptation of the popular anime franchise.

The game’s core gameplay revolves around Soul Reapers wielding unique swords that embody their spiritual essence. Players will utilize character-specific “Zankensoki” actions to deplete their opponent’s Reishi gauge. Reducing this gauge impacts the opponent’s Konpaku, with the ultimate goal being to destroy all nine Konpaku to secure victory.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls features fast-paced and strategic combat. Players can unleash Kikon Moves to deal significant damage, while Spiritual Pressure Moves tap into accumulated spiritual power for devastating effects. The trailer also highlights a Reverse Action mechanic for both offensive and defensive maneuvers, encouraging well-timed combos to turn the tide of battle.

An intriguing feature is the Awakened state, which players can enter after building up power during combat. This transformation unleashes a character’s true potential, potentially overwhelming opponents with enhanced abilities.
