A new full concept trailer for Tales of Crestoria has just been released by Bandai Namco. The developer also shared details on the game’s systems and showcased some of it cast members from previous games.
As with all mobile RPGs, the home screen is where you will be spending most of your time. Here, you can check things like quests and party stats. Place your favourite character in the home page and tap on them to your heart’s content to listen to their voices.
You pretty much engage in the campaign mode of Tales of Crestoria by going through the main story. Protagonist Kanata will encounter unique allies here, and your party will grow accordingly. Side stories as you would expect, take place outside the main plot and feature “allies” who help out Kanata and the others on their adventure. The allies in question are heroes from previous games, and have their own story to tell too.
Character episodes are where you will be learning about your newly-acquired party member. A key element of the Tales franchise makes a return here in the form of face chats. These take place in between quests and are a series of lighthearted banter between party members and conversation not part of the primary story.
Tales of Crestoria is scheduled for a Western launch on the Android and iOS and Android platforms in 2019.
