Bandai Namco will release the action game Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm for mobile devices on September 24, 2024. The game, originally developed by CyberConnect2 for PlayStation 3 in 2008, will be available on the App Store and Google Play for $9.99.
This mobile release for both iOS and Android significantly expands the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series, which developers have previously ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game offers players the opportunity to experience the stories and battles from Naruto’s childhood through visually striking graphics.
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm mobile version includes two main game modes. The Ultimate Mission Mode allows players to explore the Hidden Leaf Village, undertake missions, and participate in mini-games. The Free Battle Mode features 25 playable characters from Naruto’s early years and 10 support characters, enabling players to engage in dynamic ninja battles.
To optimize the game for mobile devices, developers have implemented several changes:
- Simplified controls for easier ninjutsu and ultimate jutsu activation
- New auto-save feature
- Selectable control modes for battles (casual/manual)
- Battle assist feature in casual mode
- Improved controls for combat and movement
- Added retry option for missions
- Enhanced mini-game user interface
- Improved tutorial
While the game does not include an online battle mode, players can play it offline after the initial download. Players only need an internet connection for data backup and transfer.
