Bandai Namco Announces Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered for Switch and PC

Bandai Namco and developer B.B. Studio have revealed that Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered will be launching worldwide on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on May 22, 2024. This release marks the first time the game will be available with English localization, as the original PS Vita version was exclusively released in Japan in June 2012.

The remastered edition brings players into the world of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED with enhanced graphics and updated features. Players can choose their allegiance between the Earth Alliance Forces, ZAFT, or the Archangel, participating in missions that recreate iconic moments from both Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered will boast a roster of over 100 Mobile Suits, all of which have been updated with high-resolution model textures. Players can unlock additional Mobile Suits and missions from the main series, as well as explore side stories from the broader Mobile Suit Gundam SEED universe.

Combat mechanics have been refined with new lock-on modes and controller settings for improved gameplay experience. The game also features a redesigned UI menu system where players can customize and enhance their Mobile Suits and weaponry to match their preferred combat style. While the remaster maintains the core experience of the 2012 release, Bandai Namco notes that some specifications may differ from the original version.
