Baiken Hell’s Kitchen Cameo Resurfaces On The Internet

Amid all the hype of Baiken coming to Guilty Gear Strive, fans have dug out one lesser-known guest appearance for the secret character- in Hell’s Kitchen.

To be more precise, Baiken appeared on the Russian version of Hell’s Kitchen, where one of the challenges for contestants was to maintain their cooking composure in the presence of two sexy cosplayers.

Footage from the episode was posted to the Guilty Gear subreddit, as fans discussed if the episode was real or just a photoshop.

It should be noted that this wasn’t some sort of cross promotional program for Guilty Gear- fans were quick to point out the various inconsistencies with the Baiken cosplay, such as an irregular number of arms and eyes.

Still, good on the production crew for having good tastes in choosing characters to cosplay since it would have been easy to just throw in a Chun Li and call it a day .

The cameo follows discussions on what fans described as an increasingly sexualized design for Baiken, as each new design for her sports more and more prominent breasts.

Funnily enough the cosplayer in the photo is cosplaying the original Baiken design from Guilty Gear XX, albeit a little sexed up for the TV program.

This also marks the second time in recent months old footage of Guilty Gear on TV has surfaced, after that other time Bill Clinton put the game on blast for being too violent.
