Square Enix and Platinum Games’ have shared a new survey about their latest game Babylon’s Fall, and how they can make the graphics look better.
The goal of the survey is to get an idea of what users think of how the game looks so the developers can improve on its’ graphics. Players can head to the Babylon’s Fall official website to fill the survey out.
It’s a fairly short survey. It asks when you started playing the game, from early access or official launch, and what edition of the game you bought. It then asks how satisfied you are with the various aspects of the game’s design including character models, equipment, NPCs and background effects.
Babylon’s Fall hasn’t gotten off to the best start with low concurrent player numbers and mediocre reception. Many see its monetization live service system to be less than stellar compared to Platinum’s previous single-player offerings like Bayonetta and Nier Automata.
One of the more major complaints about the game is that it looks very generic, with little differentiation from other live service fantasy RPGs like Raid Shadow Legends. It lacks Platinum’s more unique action flair.
I guess it’s good that they want to make the game look better however I’m not sure how much they’ll be able to do. A lot of the major problems people have with the game seem baked into its’ live service aspects, that being said, the gameplay itself isn’t too bad.
Babylon’s Fall is currently available for PS4, PS5, and PC.
