Square Enix, and Platinum’s Games’ live service action game Babylon’s Fall has now fallen to an all-time low, with the game reportedly having one co-current player online in the past week.
According to Steam Charts, on Monday the 4th of May 2022, Babylon’s Fall fell to one player at 7:00 am. This is a far cry from the game’s usual average of 85 players a day, which itself fell off from its launch in March which had just over 200 players. As you can tell the game isn’t doing very well.
Since the news of this data was released by VGC, this single-player has since identified themself as @dashiellwood, even proclaiming themself on their Twitter bio to be the “World’s Only Babylon’s Fall Player, 00:00 04/05/22”.

Babylon’s Fall has so far been a critical and likely financial flop, with many saying that the world and design feel generic, and the progression was needlessly confusing. It has since been rated the third-worst game of 2022 on Metacritic.
Despite this reception Square Enix has said that the game will be getting at least two more seasons of content which will add a new game mode to the title and make continuous improvements through multiple updates.
Babylon’s Fall is available on PS4, PS5, and PC.
