Azur Lane turns New Jersey into buxom shipgirl

The poster girl for Mirror Involution, the next major event in Azur Lane is New Jersey. Not the state, but battleship USS New Jersey. New Jersey will be the game’s newest Ultra Rare shipgirl and you can catch her bouncing in anticipation of her arrival in her introduction video:

This Iowa-class battleship had the fearsome moniker of Black Dragon back in World War II. This was apparently due to the dark paint of her hull, which made the ship look like a dragon breathing fire when she fired her guns. In fact, you can even visit the battleship in real life as she is now docked in Camden, New Jersey as a museum.

New Jersey will be leading the new Eagle Union shipgirls in Mirror Involution. The other shipgirls who will be making their debut in this event are:

• Boise
• San Francisco
• Ticonderoga
• Archerfish
• Morrison

How badly will New Jersey upset the meta in Azur Lane once she arrives? Will she end the dominance of Shinano, a fellow Ultra Rare shipgirl? Only time will tell.
