V-Diva AZKi has announced that rather than graduating, she’s joining Hololive, following the discontinuation of her INNK music label.
In a statement today, the music label Project INNK announced that AZKi would release her final song under the label, and the INNK Music label would be discontinued.
Rather than terminating her idol activities and graduating however, instead they announced that she would formally be inducted into Hololive, being able to join more of the agency’s activities.
Both the termination of INNK Music and AZKi’s transition to Hololive would officially start in April, 2022.
“In addition, “AZKi” has been a member of the music label “Inonaka Music” within “Hololive Production”, but due to a change in the support system, she will be a member of “Hololive” from April 2022″, the statement from INNK reads.
AZKi herself also commented on the matter, with a letter for her fans explaining the situation.
” For me, my three years of activity at INNK MUSIC was truly irreplaceable. Through music, I met and supported many people, and I had various experiences, both happy and sad. For music production, live production, events and planning, etc. I am grateful to all who have been involved”, she says. “Thank you so much for everything. The form of affiliation will change, but we hope that we can deliver music to you in a new way. We will continue to devote ourselves to this, and we hope that you will continue to support us in the future”.
INNK Music was a joint venture between Hololive and the now-dissolved entity Upd8. Fans have speculated that properly moving her took time because of the dissolution, meaning they had to wait for her contract to end before they could have sole ownership over the character.
