A gameplay trailer for Avowed, a first-person RPG set in the fantasy world of Eora was just revealed at Xbox Games Showcase earlier today.
The game is being developed under by acquired studio Obsidian Entertainment and is scheduled to release in 2024.
Avowed’s gameplay trailer has your playable character drawing two electrically charged flintlock pistols and aiming it at what looks like an Orc. The trailer also showed the many types of enemies that the player will face as they explore the world.
Not only that, the trailer also showcased the many explorable environments available to the player which includes lush forests, subterranean caverns as well as towns and cities.
During the Xbox Games Showcase gameplay trailer, Avowed will also allow the player multiple options for combat as the trailer showed the use of melee weapons, Magic and even a combination of those two elements. Magic also looks to be diverse, with a multitude of spell types such as Fire and Ice being shown in the trailer alongside others.
Avowed will be releasing on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC Steam. The game will also be available to play Day 1 for Game Pass owners, for further information regarding the game you may visit the official website.
