The lineup for this movie was particularly surprising for fans as it brought old faces from older movies such as the original X-Men cast from the early 2000s and characters that have appeared in the latest Deadpool and Wolverine movie from 2024.
Additionally with the large casting, among the more shocking and earliest roles before the production was Tony Stark’s Robert Downey Jr now starring back in the MCU as the one and only Dr. Doom. It was also stated by the Russo brothers that Downey had hands on development for the character with discussions on his backstory as well as costume design for the Supreme Lord of Latveria. How this will play out when the movie premieres is beyond anyone’s assumptions.

With more excitement rising for the upcoming premieres of Thunderbolts* and Fantastic Four: First Steps in the next few months, these movies will be a massive and spectacular introduction for a larger title that is yet to come. Of course, these movies will also bring forth newer developments for the MCU and the future it will continue to build over the years.
