Those who play Dota 2 should have tried out or at least heard of the popular Dota 2 arcade mode – Auto Chess. Now it is going mobile! Drodo Studio, the maker of Auto Chess is working together with Chinese mobile games publisher Dragonest to launch Auto Chess Mobile for mobile devices.
*Update: An Android beta is live now, but you will need a China phone number to access.
Out of our expectation, Auto Chess Mobile doesn’t feature a Dota background. It will only inherit the classic game mechanism from the Dota mod. You can link your Steam account to it though, then receive a number of in-game currencies according to how much you played Dota 2 Auto Chess.
Auto Chess Mobile will be available for both Android and iOS. The pre-registration site is currently available in both English and Chinese. The game has received over 300k pre-registrations at the time of writing.
