Publisher SEGA and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will hold cast auditions for the next Like a Dragon title.
On the latest episode of “Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio TV”, “Ryu-STA TV#29“, Like a Dragon series director Masayoshi Yokoyama announced that they will hold cast auditions sometime in the future for the next game, with details to be announced very soon.
Yokoyama admitted that he can’t reveal the nature of the audition yet, but hinted that it would be similar to the live-action hostess auditions for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. However he denied that the story would go in a direction similar to that game.
Auditions for the main roles will remain unavailable to the public, but general auditions will still be held for other roles which the public are welcome to apply for. He advises those who are interested in giving it a shot to keep an eye out as more information will be released very soon.
He teased that that the new project looks “interesting” so far, but said that the title in development is not Yakuza Kiwami 3. Despite that, he believes the day when they will finally work on that game will come at some point.
