Atlus has launched an official Facebook page for the Southeast Asia region named ‘Atlus SEA’. They say this page will be used to keep fans in the region updated with the latest news on Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, and any other games that they’re working on.
As of writing this article, there are currently two posts on the page. One is a post wishing Yusuke Kitagawa from Persona 5 a Happy Birthday (Happy Birthday Yusuke!) and the other is a giveaway contest for SEA based Atlus fans.
The giveaway contest will run from January 28, 2022 – February 10, 2022, and the winners will be announced on February 18th.
All you have to do to enter is like and follow the Facebook page and fill out a questionnaire. The winners will be picked at random from everyone who enters.
The winner will be awarded an Atlus 35th Anniversary Face towel (two winners) or a rubber coaster (two winners). These pieces of merch are adorned with the Atlus 35th Anniversary brand logo featuring long-time company mascot Jack Frost and Morgana from Persona 5.
Atlus is well known for their popular JRPGs, including the Persona series, Shin Megami Tensei as well as more obscure franchises like Etrian Odyssey, Trauma Center, and Catherine.
They are currently celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Persona, which includes porting Persona 4 Ultimax to modern consoles among numerous other projects that have not been announced yet.
Their next major title however will likely be Project Re Fantasy, a new IP being directed by Persona 3-5 director Katsura Hashino which has been in development for the past couple of years.
It’s always nice to see more game companies engaging with fans in the SEA region. We look forward to seeing how the company uses the ‘Atlus SEA’ page in the future.
