Atelier Ryza Anime Adaptation Announced

Koei Tecmo has announced that the Atelier Ryza “Secret” series is getting its very own anime adaptation and is scheduled for a summer 2023 release.

Japanese animation studio Liden Films will be the studio responsible for the anime adaptation and will bring to life the first title in the series which is Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout.

Not only that, they have included the cast and staff involved in the adaptation which includes some members involved in the original game at their website.

Koei Tecmo has also shared another trailer for Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key which is scheduled to release this March 24th for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Steam.

Atelier Ryza 3 is the third installment in the series and takes place when a group of islands called Kark Isles appear near Ryza’s hometown. Seeing this as a threat to their home, Ryza and her friends investigate the isles and discover ruins with a huge gate. Just as Ryza approaches the gate, a strange voice echoes in her head, telling her to reach the Code of the Universe.

What is it that lies beyond the gate, and what does the “Code of the Universe” mean? In hopes of finding a way to save their home, Ryza and her friends set off on a great adventure that revolves around a Key and the roots of alchemy.
