Atelier Online English to be published by Boltrend Games

Boltrend Games has released a trailer for the English localization for Atelier Online, officially romanized as Atelier Online: Alchemist of Bressisle. You can check out the English language trailer for the game below:

No date has been given for the release of Atelier Online in English, presumably the trailer being a preemptive announcement. This release was actually hinted at some time back, as we’d reported on, with the trailer looking to be confirmation of its impending launch. Boltrend has been hard at work picking up these titles, with DISGAEA RPG‘s global release also looming, besides other titles such as Arc the Lad R in the pipeline.

Atelier Online is essentially an online version of the series, featuring a familiar world and game system. In the backdrop of the trademark Atelier mellow setting, you will be engaging in the same combat system and tinkering with the same synthesis mode which the game is known for.

As a series first, you will be able to play as either male or female alchemist, in addition with other people of course. Further into the game, you will meet with a cast of characters that will support you in the Atelier universe. Your goal is to help educate the new generation with the declining knowledge of alchemy. Play in either single-player mode or co-op with other players by battling monsters with alchemy. Players can also customise their character’s outfit, skills and equipment as well.
