The GameStation Go features a hybrid control scheme that combines modern and unique elements. Players will find familiar controls including an analog stick, D-Pad, four action buttons, and shoulder triggers. However, the device also incorporates distinctive features such as a trackball and numeric keypad. The X, Y, A, and B buttons appear to feature backlighting functionality.
The hardware includes several connectivity options, with an HDMI output for TV connection, a headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. The device also sports two USB-C ports that support additional wired controllers for multiplayer gaming.
This new portable system follows My Arcade’s previous Atari GameStation Pro, a home console that included over 200 built-in games. However, the companies have not yet disclosed the GameStation Go’s game library, pricing, release date, or technical specifications. Full details about the Atari GameStation Go are expected to be revealed during the official announcement at CES 2025 next week.
