ASUS ROG announced Zephyrus S (GX531) – the world’s thinnest gaming laptop

The Zephyrus gaming laptop series by ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced its latest entry – the Zephyrus S (GX531) and it is thinner than ever! Featuring the Intel Core i7-8750H processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q / GTX 1060, it is only 14.95 – 15.75mm thin. Check out more of its details below!

Thanks to the super-narrow bezels, its 15.6-inch display could fit into a 14.2-inch chassis and create a more immersive gaming experience. The display panel features a 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time too, so you could expect a super-smooth gaming with blur-free graphics.

The Zephyrus S is powered by the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor with GeForce 10-series graphics up to the GTX 1070 with Max-Q Design. You don’t have to worry about its performance, it could handle heavy workloads or exhaustive gameplay without a problem.

The innovative Active Aerodynamic System (AAS) is featured as well, which a special vent opens underneath the chassis when the lid of the laptop is lifted to draw in more cool air. You can customize its RGB lighting with the Aura Sync, while the new Armoury Crate allows you to adjust system settings and Aura Sync lighting easily.
