ASUS Malaysia has announced the launch of two new devices powered by the Snapdragon X Plus processor: the Vivobook S 15 ultraportable laptop and the ProArt PZ13 creator tablet. These devices are part of the ASUS Copilot+ PC series and are the first laptops to feature the new Snapdragon X Plus eight-core processor from Qualcomm Technologies.
ASUS designed the Vivobook S 15 for portability, giving it a slim 14.7 mm profile and a weight of just 1.42 kg. It boasts a 15.6-inch 3K 120 Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display and offers up to 19 hours of battery life. Furthermore, the laptop includes a single-zone RGB backlit keyboard, a dedicated Copilot key for quick access to AI tools, and an expansive touchpad with gesture controls. Connectivity options include two USB4 ports, USB 3.2, HDMI 2.1, a microSD slot, and WiFi 7.
The ProArt PZ13 is a lightweight creator tablet weighing 0.85 kg and measuring 9 mm in thickness. It features a 3K ASUS Lumina OLED touchscreen with stylus support and offers up to 21 hours of FHD video playback. In addition, the device includes two USB4 ports and a full-speed SD card reader supporting UHS-II cards. It also comes with AI-powered tools like StoryCube and ProArt Creator Hub, as well as a six-month CapCut membership for video editing.
Both devices leverage the Snapdragon X Plus processor, which offers 45 TOPS of AI processing power and significant advancements in connectivity. This new platform aims to provide enhanced performance, efficiency, and AI capabilities in ultraportable designs. ASUS prices the Snapdragon X Plus-powered Vivobook S 15 at RM4,899, while offering the ProArt PZ13 for RM6,999. Both devices will be on sale through the ASUS eStore and authorized resellers in Malaysia.
