ASUS Malaysia has announced a new series of AI-powered laptops today, featuring innovative technology that could interest gamers looking for versatile machines. The lineup includes the Vivobook 14/16 series, Vivobook 14/16 Flip, and the ultra-lightweight Zenbook A14.
The new Vivobook series comes equipped with powerful AI capabilities, featuring processors from multiple manufacturers including Snapdragon X, AMD Ryzen AI, and Intel Core Ultra Processor (Series 2). These machines boast up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance, suggesting strong potential for AI-enhanced gaming features and background tasks.

The Vivobook 14/16 Flip models specifically feature Intel Core Ultra Processors with up to 47 TOPS NPU performance, paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory running at 8533MT/s. The Flip variants also include high-refresh-rate OLED displays, with the 16-inch model featuring a 3K resolution panel capable of 120Hz refresh rate and 0.2ms response time – specs that should appeal to gamers who also need a productive machine.

Battery life appears to be a major focus across the lineup, with ASUS claiming up to 29 hours of usage on the standard Vivobook models and up to 28 hours on the Flip variants. This could be particularly useful for gamers who also need their laptop for work or school.
Price points for the new lineup in Malaysia start at RM2,999 for the base Vivobook 14/16 models, while the Flip variants are positioned at the higher end at RM5,999 and RM6,099 for the 14-inch and 16-inch models respectively. The premium Zenbook A14, weighing just 899g, starts at RM4,999.
