Astral Chain to launch on August 30

Nintendo and Platinum Games have just announced Astral Chain. The action game will launch on August 30 for the Nintendo Switch.

Takahisa Taura, the game designer of NieR: Automata, is responsible for the concept of Astral Chain while Hideki Kamiya, creator of the Bayonetta series, is in charge of supervision. Also, manga artist Masakazu Katsura who was behind ZETMAN and Video Girl Ai is the one who works on the character design. All the more reason for you to get the game, don’t you think so?

As part of a police special task force known as Neuron, you are assigned to fight against an extraterrestrial invasion. Gates to another dimension have these dangerous creatures summoned in the futuristic city of the Ark. They attack people and pollute the land. Even normal police forces are not able to handle them so it is all up to Neuron.

Fellow Neuron members, a male and a female, choose between the twin siblings to begin your adventure. To fight back against these creatures, humanity have developed the Legion. This powerful weapon will help assist you in investigations as a partner.

What is more unique about the Legion is its capability in battle. Develop different combat styles with your Legion to take down the enemies together. You can also send your Legion to the frontlines while you support it with items from behind.
