A livestream has been announced for Aster Tatariqus, presumably to showcase more information about the game. Scheduled for 22 December 2022, 20:00 JST, the stream will feature producer Jun Imaizumi, art director Masato Kimura, and Hololive’s Suisei Hoshimachi and Koyori Hakui as VTuber ambassadors. Composer Yoko Shimomura is also named as a special guest.
While the official Twitter is a little coy about what the livestream will actually be about, we should be able to at least get more previews of what Aster Tatariqus is, if not necessarily news. Misuzu Yamada (voice of Dinadan) and Hayato Dojima (voice of Lancelot) will be present as well.
If you haven’t heard of this game before, this is a joint work of Fuji and gumi Games under Studio FgG, and is an upcoming mobile SRPG slated for release in 2023. It has a flavour of Arthurian legend as its base, proclaiming to have one of – if not the – most bombastic stories told through a mobile game. There’s mention of branching stories based on your choices which then lead into different endings, reminiscent of Sin Chronicle‘s own storytelling method.
In any case, the screenshots of the game looks quite promising thus far that one would hope it could some day be available to global audiences.
