Astaweave Haven has gotten the green light to release in China yesterday when it was just registered as a trademark by miHoYo and made public about a month ago in Japan. “星布谷地’ (XinBuGuDi) is the name it goes by in Chinese. It was the rumored trademark’s name when it initially registered in February 2024.
According to the official document by the National Press and Publication Administration in China, Astaweave Haven is one of the games that has gained the approval to release in China. There are a total of 105 games that has been approved.
The MiHoYo game was just approved for release in China so I imagine we’ll be hearing about it soon. https://t.co/OSl8lVPLWP

There was speculation that Astaweave Haven could be a simulation management game rather than a gacha game, which is typically associated with miHoYo. Given the success of their current live service games, it wouldn’t be unexpected for the company to explore other genres.
This month alone, miHoYo’s games have gained a lot of revenue. Genshin Impact generated an estimated amount of $175 million in sales, maintaining its strong performance with regular updates and new character releases while Honkai: Star Rail has brought in approximately $500 million since its launch, which may increase with the upcoming banners that have been revealed not too long ago for version 2.4.
Zenless Zone Zero, which was officially released on July 4, has shown a promising start with an estimated $3.99 million at launch according to AppMagic. The game’s launch across multiple platforms and its urban fantasy setting have contributed to its initial success.
