Assault Lily Last Bullet, a collaboration project by the likes of POKELABO, SHAFT and TBS Television, is a smartphone RPG that just has its pre-registration opened up.
The game is based on the Assault Lily mixed-media franchise, which has also inspired an anime adaptation that is scheduled for a release in July 2020. The premise of the game takes place in the future where humanity is facing imminent destruction from a threat led by monsters known as Huge. The world has united against this common enemy by developing a counter weapon known as CHARM that combines science and magic. The thing to note is that CHARM exhibits high synchronisation affinities with teenage girls, and these individuals that use CHARM are known as Lilies.
Said Lilies train and reside at military academies known as Gardens (Final Fantasy VIII reference?) before fighting against the Huge. The game will tell the story of these girls who aim to become Lilies at one such garden. The very brief trailer does not give away anything in terms of what to expect from the game, and with the anime not out anytime soon, one can only speculate what this is going to be about.
In any case, with the amount of pedigree behind the project, we can be rest assured that Assault Lily Last Bullet will be interesting to say the least. As mentioned earlier, users are now able to pre-register the game by following the official Twitter or entering their email on the official website. Of course, doing so in turn entitles you to a number of goodies and rewards, which comprises the usual gacha tickets and in-game currency. For the latest information, be sure to visit said website every so often, or keep a lookout by stalking the Twitter account for the game. Given what seems to be like a fairly important project, expect to see more details soon enough.
