Assassin’s Creed series is back with a brand new title – Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and it is going live today (5 October)! It is still the action-adventure RPG that we are familiar with (we got Assassin’s Creed Origins), but this time, Ubisoft has brought us to ancient Greece where the Spartans dwell and we can now choose the gender of the main character.
Set its story in 431 BCE, 400 years before the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins, the game tells a fictional history of the Peloponnesian War. Playing as Alexios or Kassandra, you will take on the role of a mercenary and a descendant of the Spartan king Leonidas I.
As you explore the huge open world of ancient Greece, you can complete quests, infiltrate enemy bases and even fight for either Athens or Sparta in large-scale epic battles. The combat system is basically similar to Assassin’s Creed Origins’, but it is now more challenging with some special skills to use. Naval combat is back too.
Also, there are dialogue options and multiple endings this time, you can choose to develop romantic relationships with NPCs of both genders as well.

The game is now out for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch (Japan only). We will be reviewing the game too so stay tuned for our review!
