Gameloft has announced the release date for an expansion update coming to Asphalt 9: Legends, titled Asphalt Legends Unite.
In a recently released trailer, Gameloft teased about the upcoming update, revealing new content that players can expect to see.
According to the trailer, Asphalt Legends Unite aims to be a rebranding of the original game, Asphalt 9: Legends, as shown by the game logo changing at the start of the trailer.
On their official website, the developers mentioned various overhauls to the game’s features that will coming with this expansion, such as:
- An all-new co-op game mode, where players can pick a side in a 5 vs 3 chase down. The goal is to either make your escape from the Security team, or takedown the Syndicate runners.
- Cross-platform play will be introduced to the game, allowing players to play with friends and against opponents from different platforms.
- An entirely remodeled garage with a renovated and modern area, a new garage level cap has also been added for players to climb towards.
- New dynamic and lighting effects were added to allow more action to shine through
The Asphalt Legends Unite expansion update is slated to come to the game on July 17th, 2024 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
