Following the recent PlayStation State of Play, it has now been announced that pre-orders for the physical editions of Final Fantasy XVI will open in the Asia-Pacific regions on the 20th of April 2023.
The physical editions of the game include the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition. Customers who pre-order any of the physical editions will also get a B5 notebook. Here is a look at each limited physical edition:
The Deluxe Edition of the game comes with a standard copy of FFXVI as well as a steelbook, and a cloth map. The Collectors Editions comes with everything the Deluxe Edition includes as well as an Ifrit and Pheonix Statue, a set of 8 metal pins for each of the Eikons, and a code for the Blood Sword as a digital item.
The digital versions of the game include the standard digital edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition. The latter comes with a digital mini art book and a digital mini soundtrack. If you pre-order either of the digital versions, you’ll get the Scholar‘s Spectacles (EXP upgrade) as a bonus item.
All Final Fantasy XVI pre-orders (both physical and digital) will also receive a pre-order bonus including the Braveheart Weapon DLC and Cait Sith Charm (Gil Boost Accessory) DLC.
Final Fantasy XVI will be released for the PS5 on the 22nd of June 2023.
